CROMPTON Rectangular Panel Ammeters CROMPTON panel Ammeters are high quality taut band meters that give a much more accurate reading than the average dashboard gauge due to the finer scale. Some of these meters have internal shunts while others require an external shunt, listed below. If an instrument that requires a shunt is used without one it will burn out immediately. All of these gauges use a 50mV meter movement. Dimensions 76mm 58mm, cutout d54mm, protrusion 12mm, intrusion 45mm.

VDO Cockpit Vision Ammeters VDO Cockpit Vision Ammeters will show the rate of discharge or charge of the boat's electrical system. Be sure to have the shunt connected correctly if your ammeter requires one. All these ammeters have 12V backlighting, but the lamp can be changed if the instrument is to be used in a 24V system.
