Adjustable Oil Pressure Switches
Adjustable pressure switches. These switches have a potentiometer that allows adustment of the switch point. The first pressure value in the description indicates the default setting, the scond value (in brackets) indicates the limit of the adjustment range. The switches are isolated, some have a third terminal because they have both a normally open as well as a normally closed contact. |

Oil Pressure Switches
Pressure switches, suitable for switching warning lights, alarms etc. These are not gauge sensors. Switches marked モNOヤ are normally open (i.e. they are open at low pressures and close on rising pressure), those marked モNCヤ are normally closed (i.e. they are closed at low pressures and open on rising pressure). The standard configuration for oil pressure alarms is a normally closed switch. Switching pressure and thread size dependant on application. Earthed switches are connected to battery negative through the block (one terminal), isolated switches are above earth and have a second terminal for connection to the battery negative. |

VDO Cockpit Vision Oil Pressure Gauges
VDO Cockpit Vision (CPV) pressure gauges are excellent economical marine quality gauges. Care should be taken to avoid excessive exposure to salt air and spray as the bezels could corrode in time. All VDO temperature gauges connect with standard 6mm spade connectors and are backlit. Cutout size d52mm. These gauges require VDO senders. 100kPa is equal to 1 bar. |

VDO Oil Pressure Sensors
VDO pressure sensors are designed to be connected to any of the VDO pressure gauges. Pressure range and thread size are dependant on application. Earthed sensors are connected to battery negative through the block (one terminal), isolated sensors are above earth and have a second terminal for connection to the battery negative. Single station sensors are required if only one gauge is connected to the sensor, dual station sensors will only work accurately if connected to two identical gauges (e.g. for boats with a second command station). |

VDO Viewline Oil Pressure Gauges
VDO Viewline pressure gauges. Cutout size d52mm. These gauges require VDO senders. The 200kPa gauges are suitable as turbo boost gauges. Engine oil pressure gauges typically have a 500kPa or 1000 kPa range. The 2500kPa gauges are used as transmission oil pressure gauges. |
