aquasignal Series 30 LED Navigation LightsThe aquasignal Series 30 navigation lights have single, super bright LED's per sector. Each LED only draws 1,5W. The Series 30 lights operate on both 12/24V and are reverse polarity protected. The LED's are thermally connected to machined aluminium housings to give them the neccessary heatsinking to warrant extended lifespan of over 50 000 hours. The optics and electronic circuitry are moulded into a sealed watertight black polycarbonate housings (white housings available on request) to protect them from moisture and dust. We do not sell the budget navigation lights as they have inferior lenses and sealing that will lead to rapid deterioration. All our navigation lights comply with IMO COLOREGS 72, the international standard of approval for navigation lights. Note that having navigation lights fitted to your boat that do not comply with these regulations could leave you vulnerable if your boat is involved in an accident, it could even void your insurance. This also applies to the lamps (globes) used in these fittings, the lights are approved as a unit with lamps, and fitting alternative lamps can void the legality of the light. The correct size navigation light for the applicable boat length must be fitted. We also stock the appropriate range of lamps (globes) to fit these nav lights - see section 590. |
