Carlingswitch V-Series Contura 3 Black Rocker Switches Carlingswitch V-Series Contura 3 rocker switches, in black. The Contura 3 features parallel bar relief styling. Available in either momentary or latching circuits in both single and double throw actions as well as single and double pole. These high quality switches are moulded in tough, non corrosive nylon, polyester and polycarbonate. They have an IP rating of IP68, making them the ideal switch for exposed applications under the harshest of conditions. ﾓ0ﾔ refers to an off position, ﾓIﾔ refers to on, and actions in brackets refer to a momentary position. Also available with indicator lights for latching (maintained) switch positions, for 12V or 24V. The switches are rated 20A for 12V and 15A for 24V.

Enclosures for mounting the Carling V-Series Contura range of rocker switches in situations where no suitable mounting surface is available or where the rear of the switches also needs protection from moisture. The enclosures are machined only to accommodate the switches. No holes have been machined for cable access. Holes can easily be machined in numbers, positions and sizes as required. Fitment of bullet glands 290019 etc to seal cable entries is suggested. The smaller housing is dimensioned 80mm x 110mm x 70mm . The enclosures are sold without switches or switch mountings.

Man-overboard Switch This is a normally closed switch that is fitted to the ignition circuit. In order for the engine to run, a cap must be pressed onto the switch to break the short circuit to negative on magneto engines. The cap has a lanyard attached to it which should in turn be attached to the boat driver. If the driver falls overboard, the cap is pulled off the switch and the engine is stopped.
