Low Voltage Battery Alarm/CutoutVictron Battery Protect disconnects the battery from non-essential loads before it is completely discharged. Four different disconnect/engage voltages can be selected for each of 12V or 24V systems. To protect sensitive equipment from over-voltage, the load is also disconnected if the voltage rises above 16V or 32V. Ignition proof due to mosfet based design (i.e. no relays to cause sparks). An alarm output (500mA max) is activated if the battery voltage drops below the set point for more than 15s. Engine starting will therefore not activate the alarm. Load disconnect occurs one minute after alarm activation unless the voltage has increased to above the set point in the interim. |
