CTEK battery chargers are ideal portable battery chargers for recharging batteries of trailer boats, trolling motors, and jet skis. CTEK chargers are spark free, short circuit-proof and reverse polarity protected, i.e. they are safe and モFoolヤ proof. An input voltage sensor means all CTEK chargers, by automatically adjusting their output voltage, can charge drained and desulphated batteries even if the mains voltage drops as low as 170VAC. Strong, robust, water-resistant housings means CTEK chargers can be safely used outdoors. All CTEK chargers are supplied with a dedicated charger socket, which can be connected to the battery and mounted on the boat to provide a convenient connection point for the charger. The Xantrex BC Battery Chargers feature a unique drip proof design that prevents water form damaging the chargers by forcing the moisture away from components that can be easily damaged. These are three stage smart chargers with an additional maintenance cycle. Auto-ranging AC input voltage capability (90 - 265 volts AC) makes traveling abroad and handling poor-quality power a breeze. The Xantrex BC's can safely and easily be mounted in boat engine rooms, providing IP32 environmental enclosures, Ignition protection and most importantly complying with interference regulations to eliminate interference with other electronics. They also feature fuse-less reverse polarity and over temperature protection. Easily mounted in either horizontal or vertical orientation, these chargers can be installed in virtually any location, while the battery terminal connection points are easily accessed and connection is secure with 6mm bolt posts. Another key feature of the Xantrex BC's is the simplicity of their new charging algorithms, or Multi-plex charging. Multi-plex charging allows the single charger to address multiple tasks seemingly at the same time, such as providing bulk charge to one bank of batteries, absorption to another, and float in the third. To make this system more exciting, each battery bank can be of a different type (settings for Flooded, Gel, AGM, Lead Calcium). Even better is that each bank can have an independent temperature sensor. The optional remote mounted control and monitoring panel helps to show exactly what �phase� of multi-plexing the charger is in. helps the user see which battery bank is most in need of charge, and helps to keep an eye on the three battery bank voltages. Included standard with the Xantrex BC's is one temp sensor, but up to two more can easily be added for the perfect charging system. With no temp sensors connected, the charger always assumes ambient temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius. The use of individual temp sensors ensures perfect charging at all times. By adding the optional battery monitor shunt, the Xantrex BC can provide amp-hours consumed information on the remote control panel. Dolphin Battery Chargers
Dolphin battery chargers are Premium Quality chargers! These chargers are full switch-mode 3 stage chargers offering a continuous charge with precise voltage regulation. They are special purpose float chargers and can be left unattended indefinitely whilst safely maintaining full battery charge, thus solving the gassing, overcharging, low electrolyte and short battery life problems associated with cheaper chargers. Designed for marine use with powder coated aluminium casings and marinised (conformally coated) circuit boards, Dolphin chargers are top of the range! The 12V 10A and 15A Dolphin chargers allow selection of input voltage 115V 60Hz or 230V 50Hz by means of an internal selector switch. All other chargers in the range have automatic switchover between 115V and 220V. The 12V 10A charger has two outlets and is convection cooled, the other chargers in the range have three outlets for charging multiple battery banks and are fan cooled. Up to the full rated current for any given charger can be drawn from each of the outlets, although the maximum total charge drawn at any time cannot exceed the current rating for that charger. The second and where applicable third outputs charge at 0,3V or 0,6V less than the primary outputs on 12V and 24V chargers respectively. Float voltages are 13,8V or 27,2 V. On models up to 12V20A and on the 24V10A model, an internal selector switch allows selection of either 14,4V or 15V (for lead-calcium batteries) absorption voltage. On these models a single LED indicator light indicates charge status and malfunctions. The 12V 10A and 15A models are supplied with wired in flyleads for connection to the batteries. All other models are connected to the battery cables via 6mm outlet stud terminals. |

Dolphin Battery Chargers - High Output
The Dolphin chargers from 12V30A and 24V20A upwards feature further enhancements on the smaller chargers listed above. Optimal charging for the six most common battery types is ensured by an internal rotary selector switch. In addition, equalisation or a power supply mode can be selected. Multi LED displays on the case offer full information of the state of the charging process at a glance. An optional remote panel mirroring these indicators that plugs in internally is available. Another option is the fitment of a battery temperature probe. It is strongly recommended that this probe is fitted, as it feeds vital information on the battery temperature back to the charger to further enhace efficiency and safety. |
