STUDER XTENDER MOBILE Sine Wave Inverter/Chargers
The Studer Xtenda Mobile true sine wave inverters provide an unmatched freedom of use thanks to their many functions. In a basic application, they offer together the functions of inverter, battery charger, transfer system and assistance to the source. These functions can be combined and controlled in a totally automatic way for an exceptional comfort and an optimal management of the energy available. Programmable auxiliary contacts allow the interconnection with existing systems or the implementation of extended functions. Fully programmable by means of a remote control, they enable the update of the software, thus making them upgradeable products to which new functions may be added further on. The Smart-Boost function enables to add the inverter power to another source, e.g. a genset or the shorepower, even in case of asymmetric loads. It is possible to add an Xtender to almost any other existing inverter in order to increase the power available. Potential free multifunctional contacts can be programmed to provide many supplementary functions. They can react to each event, inside or outside of the inverter (presence of the grid, battery thresholds, alarm signal). The contacts can also be programmed as a time switch or can be disabled during sensitive periods (e.g. at night, on week-ends). They therefore allow the implementation of functions like the automatic start of gensets, the automatic disconnection of second priority users, the alarm signal, the conditional charge of the battery. Studer Xtender XTH inverters are reliable and silent with any kind of load with outstanding overload capabilities and high efficiency. They feature automatic reduction of peak loads (power shaving) and have ultra fast transfer relays. The battery charging function is full multi-stage programmable with PFC. |

MAGNASINE Sine Wave Inverter/Chargers
The MS Series Inverter/Charger from Magnum Energy is a pure sine wave inverter designed specifically for the most demanding mobile and off grid applications. The MS Series is powerful, easy-to-use, and best of all, cost effective. The built in PFC uses 25-30% less AC current than standard chargers. The pure sine wave inverter and power factor corrected charger provide clean, reliable inverter power with low total harmonic distortion (THD) of less than 5%. The MS Series is available in 12 and 24 volt configurations, Mount the MS Series on a shelf, bulkhead, or even upside down. The lightweight aluminum base and cover also provide noise reduction and corrosion resistance. The MS Series is backed by a three-year limited warranty. Install the MS Series in four easy steps: simply connect the inverter's output to your distribution circuits or electrical panel, connect your shore power cable (AC) to the inverter's easy-to-reach terminal block, connect the batteries, and switch on the power. Optional accessories include a battery monitor and an automatic generator start module. |

Victron Multi and MultiPlus SW Inverter-chargers
The Victron Multi and MultiPlus inverter chargers have all the features of a sine wave inverter and a three stage smart charger in one compact enclosure. A unique AC power management system will prevent overload of a limited AC source. First, battery charging will automatically be reduced when otherwise an overload would occur - with a user adjustable overload limit that can be set depending on what AC loads other than the charger have to be supported. On the Multi-Plus units (ie from 1200VA upwards) a second level (Power Assist) will activate the inverter to supplement the output of a generator or shore side supply with power taken from the battery when peaks in power demand occur. This peak power is often required only for a limited period and the Phoenix MultiPlus will ensure that insufficient shore or generator power is immediately compensated for by power from the battery. The units have UPS functionality - seamless transfer from external AC to inverter supply will occur within 20 milliseconds if there is a power failure in the shore or generator supply, quick enough for computers and other electronic equipment to continue working. Models range from 800VA (700W) to 3000VA (2500W) per module. Multiple modules can be installed, if needs be configured to supply three-phase power. |
