Flexible Solar PanelThe Spectraflex is a 32A solar panel made from a spectrum splitting amorphous silicon cell design that converts very low levels of light to usable energy. Unlike other types of amorphous silicon technology, the Spectraflex is very stable over many years where others degrade rapidly soon after deployment. Bypass diodes are connected across each cell so the panel is also shadow tolerant. It is a highly flexible panel constructed using UV stabilized polymers, bonded and stitched to a cushioned backing material. The whole unit can be rolled to a diameter of just 30cm for storage and in use placed onto curved surfaces such as a sail boom or a coachroof. The module can be walked on in soft soled shoes. Each panel has 4 corner eyelets for attaching with rope or bungee cords. The panel can be rolled out on a flat horizontal surface or just hung facing the sun It is weatherproof and carries a 2-year limited warranty Diodes are connected across each cell making the panel shadow tolerant and preventing current from flowing out of the battery during darkness. |

SPECTRA SOLAR PanelsSpectralite is a range of semi-flexible solar panels made from efficient and stable crystalline cells. The range consists three panels with rated outputs of 5W, 10W and 20W. These cells are sealed between a fibreglass substrate that ensures durability whilst keeping weight low and a scratchproof Tedlar superstrate with excellent light transmissive properties. The panels can be walked on with deck shoes. The cells in the Spectra 10 and 20 quite uniquely are arranged in two halves, each producing full voltage. Should one half become shaded, the other half is still capable of generating itメs part of the panelメs output. These panels have been designed to be able to be gently bent up to 3% (e.g. 30mm per 1m) to follow the curvature of a coachroof and can be fixed using the four grommeted screw holes or by using an adhesive such a Sikaflex. The panels must be fixed to a strong supportive base. The panels are weatherproof and carry a 2-year limited warranty. A built-in diode prevents current from flowing out of the battery during darkness. Fitment of a regulator is recommended. These panels are ideal for keeping batteries fully charged at times when the boat is not in use. |

SUNWARE Solar PanelsSunWare Solar Panels are solar panels consisting of efficient polycrystalline solar cells that have been bonded onto a stainless steel substrate. This results in an advanced solar module that is extremely thin, lightweight and flexible. They are only 2mm thick and can be glued or screwed directly onto solid surfaces like decks and coach roofs. The marine stainless steel substrate is totally resistant to atmospheric corrosion and salt water. The back of the panel has a white powder coat finish for extra protection. A structured Teflon Coated surface which protects against water ingress seals in the photovoltaic cells. It can be walked on in deck shoes and is designed to reduce the possibility of slipping even in wet weather. SunWare panels are bendable up to 3% across their length (e.g. 3cm over 1m). This means that they can easily and conveniently be placed on curved solid surfaces. SunWare Marine Modules are available rated12V 12W, 24W, 36W, 48W and 70Watt. The smaller modules are ideal for keeping batteries topped up during periods when the boat is not in use. The larger modules or multiples of these modules are suited to live aboard applications and those spending holidays on board. All SunWare solar panels are efficient at converting sunlight into power as all models are made up of 40 photovoltaic cells, a feature that has distinct advantages over standard 36 cell marine solar panels: The additional cells assist in compensating for lost voltage in overcast conditions delivering power for longer than solar panels with fewer cells. The additional cells keep the operating temperature lower thus avoiding reduction in efficiency and allowing the panels to be installed directly onto the surface without the need for rear ventilation. 36 cell panels experience a fall in efficiency in high temperatures. Each panel is supplied with 3m of sea water tight cable and a diode junction box kit. The diode kit can be installed at a location before the regulator or battery to prevent reverse power from the battery to the panel in darkness. SunWare solar panels are designed for marine environments, built to the very highest quality standard of materials and workmanship. Each solar panel is individually tested to industry standards and is backed up by a 3 year warranty. Protective edging is available if required to finish off the installation. |

SUNSEI Solar PanelsThe weather resistant SUNSEI SE-170 trickle charger is suitable for maintaining small boat batteries up to about 75Ah or 500CCA. It can be mounted virtually anywhere, using the suction cups included. Connection to the battery is via the cigarette lighter plug or alligator clips supplied with the panel. The output of 2,6 Watts at a maximum current of 0.17A is warranted to be maintained to at least 80% for ten years It has a touch-action LED indicator to indicate when the panel is charging. |

SUNTECH Solar PanelsSuntech Power Co. Ltd. is a Chinese-Australian joint venture company, specializing in research, development, manufacturing and marketing of crystalline silicon photovoltaic (PV) products. The founder of Suntech Power, Dr Zhengrong Shi, completed his PhD degree at the University of New South Wales, Australia under the expertise of Prof. Martin A. Green - a well-known world leader in PV. Dr Shi has worked in many research positions, including Deputy Research Director in Pacific Solar Pty Ltd, and alone holds 10 patents for his technical inventions in PV cells or solar cells. He is a well recognised worldwide leader in polycrystalline silicon solar cell technology. The world class research and development team, led by Dr Shi, conduct research into higher efficiency silicon solar cells and technology development in order to lower the costs of solar cell manufacturing. As development in solar cell technology continues to improve, so will the cost reductions, making solar cells accessible to an even wider market. Suntechメs products are currently made using the most advanced technology and processing techniques, they are considered among the best products on the market |
