ICOM M710 HF Transceiver Constructed in a die-cast aluminum chassis with surface mount components, the IC-M710 HF radio is designed for long hours of operation in the harsh marine environment. The IC-M710 is an easy to use radio that will nevertheless even cover the needs of most professionals, with 1136 programmable or pre-programmed channels that cover all allowed bands between 1.6 and 27.5 MHz and a large, easy-to-read display that shows status at a glance. Seven characters can be programmed into each memory channel to conveniently display station names, ship names, etc. A full 150 W (PEP) of output power is available for reliable long distance communication. A large cooling fan, in combination with the aluminum chassis, allows continuous transmission at full output powerﾗeven during demanding RTTY (radio teletype) and NBDP (narrow band direct printing) operation. Two large memory and frequency dials allow quick and easy operation. The IC-M710 is weather fax ready.

ICOM M801 HF Transceiver The ICOM IC-M802 offers an industry-standard 102mm high remote controller. When set up with the IC-M502 VHF radio, ICOM offers you a complete communications station. The alphanumeric name of any of the 1355 ITU channels can easily be read the at a glance with the large LCD display. Night time operation is no problem with 10 levels (plus OFF) adjustable backlit display and keypad. The IC-M802 offers two large dials ﾖ bank and channel ﾖ for easy channel selection. Up to 16 banks of 20 (max.) each for user channels, and 17 banks for ITU channels are available. For added safety at sea, the IC-M802 offers the latest in one-touch DSC emergency communications technology. (ITU Class E standard) The emergency button is covered by a red, spring loaded hatch to avoid accidental DSC activation. 150 Watts of power offers superior worldwide communications. MOONRAKER Copper Alloy Earth Plate Moonraker earth plate for wooden or fibreglass vessels providing an efficient low resistance earth connection for HF radios or lightening conductors. Fluted construction ensures a minimum of impedance to the water flow. Not appreciably affected by marine growth. Constructed of 94% copper alloy, 2 threaded studs are cast into the plate for mounting. Dimensions 240mm x 130mm x 20mm thick. Contact area 1100 cm2. Mounting studs M12 on 152mm pitch, to be mounted so that the fins run fore and aft, hole pitch 152mm. An internal backing plate should be used to strengthen thin hulls and nuts not overtightened as this may fracture seats of the studs.

Allows the deck mount for the emergency antenna to be used as a deck feedthrough insulator for the backstay antenna. If dismasted, the backstay connection may be removed and the whip antenna screwed into the deckmount.

Moonraker deck insulators for HF radio installations. Stop leaking RF, especially in the wet. Ribbed construction made from delrin (acetal). A cable exit hole should be drilled in the plastic dome lid and filled with neutral cure silicone. The small insulator is a 3000V feed-through insulator 65mm high above deck, 25mm high below deck, conductor d5mm, for decks 3-25mm thick. Mounting hole diameter 13mm. .
