Heavy Duty Remote Operated Battery Switch 720-MD
The BEP720-MD Heavy Duty battery switch allows for installation of the switch very close to the battery to be remotely controlled. This reduces cable lengths and sizes, providing significant savings in expense and weight without the disadvantages of limited contact ratings and power draw of contactors. They are also ideal for remote isolation of bow and stern thrusters. They include LED status identification for the remote control switch and have manual override capability. Standby current is 12mA. With the same mounting dimensions as standard BEP 720 battery switches, they can be surface or panel mounted. Rated 600A continuous, 800A intermittent 5 minutes and 2500A for cranking.10 seconds. The switch can be controlled using the BEP key switch panel 201419 or any other latching on-off switch.
